 エグゾトの精密なダイキャストモデルです。
映画「フォードvsフェラーリ」にも開発車両として出てきたGT40Mk4。
シェルビーアメリカンチームからダン・ガーニー/AJフォイトのドライブで1967年のル・マンを優勝しました。
※画像10が実車参考画像になります。
モデルはタミヤのコピーから脱した全盛期のエグゾト製ですので、決定版と言えるクオリティです。
開くところは全て実車通りに開きますし、エンジンや内装の仕上がりは実車をそのまま小さくしたような仕上がりです。
GT40シリーズは特に好きなモデルですので、精度の高いものが欲しく、今まで何台か購入しましたが、これはその中でも一際状態が良いものになります。
なお、ホルマン・ムーディの3.4号車は今でも稀に出回りますが、シェルビーアメリカンの車両、特に優勝車は国内関わらず、全国の中古市場にも全く出てこないと思います。
間違いなく、1/18スケールモデルとしてトップレアといえる永久保存版のコレクションになることと思います。
定期的にコーティングの施工を行なっておりましたので、今でも変わらず良いコンディションを保っております。
