 ビンテージカンタキルトです。
インドの女性たちが、民族衣装のサリーなどの端切れを縫い合わせ、上から細かく細かく手作業で刺し子刺繍をして作り上げられた一枚。
布合わせといい、刺し子の具合といい、世界中を探しても同じ物は絶対に無い、唯一無二のキルトです。
小さくつぎはぎされた箇所がとてもいいアクセントになっていたり、よく見ると違う色の糸で四角などの模様が刺し子されていたり、、、そのキルト毎に色々な気付きがあって、ずっと見入ってしまうほど、本当に面白くて素敵なカンタキルト。
実物を手に取って頂けたら、よりその魅力を感じて頂けるかと思います^-^
こちらのキルトは、少しだけしっかりした感のある薄手タイプ、、位の感じです。
ピンクの可愛いさは言うまでもありませんし、
そのピンクの布地の内側にブルーの布地が入っていて、そのブルーがピンクから少し顔を覗かせているのもとても可愛い一枚です^-^
